• VOLUNTEER

DROP-IN VOLNTEER SUNDAYS WILL RESUME IN MARCH!

No need to RSVP - just show up and we’ll show you what to do! Volunteering on the farm is a great way to learn more about gardening, make new friends, or spend time with your family. Kids are always welcome! Every helping hand helps us grow more food for donation and keep this community space thriving. Open volunteer times are Sundays 3-5.

  • PLANT SWAP

Are you starting to get out in your garden? Are you digging up and separating perennials? Or perhaps you started plants from seed and have more of one thing than you bargained for? Let's share and trade! RCF will be hosting 2 days of plant swaps so we can share the bounty with each other! Any extra plants left over will be sold as a fundraiser plant sale and benefit Root Cause Farm.

  • EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

This is going to be a blast! Come help us get thousands of vegetables planted in the ground that will go on to feed our community. Plus, we'll have free seeds and soil so you can plant your own little babies to take home and grow.

  • PINT NIGHT AT HI-WIRE

Join us at Hi-Wire Brewing! A portion of all proceeds on flagship brews will go toward Root Cause Farm, plus we’ll be there with merch and friends.

  • BEE CLUB MEETINGS

Did you know there are bee hives at RCF? Buncombe County Apiary Club has meetings every other month where they look and learn with the hives. All are welcome!

  • FOOD FOR FAIRVIEW

Just around the corner at Fairview Elementary is a weekly food pick-up at Food for Fairview. RCF sends produce every week, but there are also plenty of pantry items to choose from. 3:30-6 every Monday See https://www.foodforfairview.org/forms/ for more information.
